RV safety
Owners must prioritise the safety of their RV at all times by performing the following as a minimum:
- Ensuring the RV is registered, roadworthy, and safe for hire at all times.
- Completing the Annual Safety Checklist during the annual inspection by a licensed tradesperson and present it to Camplify when required.
- Complying with all regulations for fixtures, fittings, and equipment including electrical, gas, and plumbing requirements to ensure a safe RV.
- Where your RV has gas or electrical appliances regular checks and maintenance must be carried out and no RV is to be hired with faulty or damaged gas or electrical appliances.
- Declining any booking that presents doubt over the safety of any user or the public.
- Reporting all safety concerns to Camplify.
Booking commitment
Owners will maintain their calendars so that hirers can be reassured that their adventure is secure.
RV accuracy and cleanliness
The listing must provide an accurate depiction of the RV and showcase the features and amenities accessible to guests. All listings on Camplify must be safe, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained for hirer enjoyment.
Positive review rating
Owners and hirers are encouraged to review each other on the completion of each hire. This is a transparent way that users can get make an informed decision prior to agreeing to a booking. Both owners and hirers are committed to maintaining a rating as close to 5 stars as possible.
MyWay Protection
MyWay Protect, issued by MyWay Mutual Holdings Limited (My Way Mutual), is a purpose-built solution for safe RV sharing in the peer-to-peer market. MyWay Protect also offers protection for personal use of your RV (depending on the membership you choose). Adherence to the pre-hire and post-hire checklists, as well as regular maintenance and safety checks, are critical to be protected for any on-hire damage.
Protection under MyWay Protect is exclusively available to members of MyWay Mutual Holdings. Membership of MyWay Mutual is subject to its Constitution. Please consider the PDS for MyWay Protect to decide whether this product is right for you.
Camplify’s commitment to upholding the responsibilities
Camplify advocates that any user should report a breach of the owners responsibilities to Camplify once they have attempted to resolve any issues with the other party. By providing documentation to our team, we can work with you to resolve the issues raised.
Any user found to be in breach of Camplify’s organisational policies and regulations may be removed and will be subject to termination of damage cover.
